My goal is to make the people I work with better at the work they're already trying to do. That looks like leading a team well. It also looks like building the tool the team didn't know they needed.

I go by Mooney. Always have. Working on making it the legal version too.

I spent close to a decade running operations the old-fashioned way: boots on the ground, P&Ls in spreadsheets, problems handled with a phone call. Then I met a tool that could do the spreadsheet part for me. Now I lead a 10,000-vehicle rental fleet at Lyft, build the AI systems that take the repetitive work off my team's plate, and run a couple of small businesses on the side. The fun part is the same as it ever was: figure out the hard thing, put the right people and pieces in place, and watch it run.

I love the gap between operations and engineering. A small team that understands both can ship things a large org full of specialists can't. I enjoy mentoring people on the field operations side who want to learn how to build, and I'm at my best when I'm close enough to the actual problem to design the solution myself.

Outside of work I'm training for a HYROX race, walking two large dogs, writing custom songs for kids who won't put their shoes on, and slowly bringing a 2005 BMW back to life. I live in Sacramento.

• Senior Operations Manager at Lyft / Flexdrive

  2022 to Present   Flexdrive is Lyft's rental fleet for rideshare drivers. I run a 10,000+ vehicle fleet across 14 states with a team of 18.

  • Own a multi-state field operations P&L: utilization, labor, fleet costs, the everyday discipline of running a service business at scale.
  • Lead and develop the field managers who run the day-to-day, and the cross-functional relationships that keep the work moving.
  • Built AI systems used across the operation, including a vendor anomaly detector that recovered over $1M and a fleet damage detection pipeline that runs from a normal vehicle walkaround.
  • Designed and led a phased AI adoption that moved 244 people across 25 markets from pilots to daily use.
  • Won People's Choice (240 teams) at an internal hackathon for a vision-based damage prototype, with a public shoutout from the CEO.

• Founder of Mooney Tunes

  2026 to Present   Mooney Tunes makes custom songs for kids. It started because I couldn't get my partner's twins to put their shoes on. So I wrote them a song. It worked.

  • Built the product, the website, and the order pipeline from zero. End to end.
  • Launched three pricing tiers and a Stripe payment integration in the first month.
  • Expanded into tee ball walk-up songs after spotting demand in local Sacramento leagues.

• Area Truck General Manager at Enterprise Mobility

  2013 to 2022   Ran field operations in the SF Bay Area for nine years. Owned a P&L up to $39.6M.

  • Led and developed managers across multiple branches.
  • Owned the full P&L, including fleet utilization, labor, and customer operations.
  • Grew through the company's operations leadership track from individual contributor to running a multi-branch region.
  • Learned how to operate at scale, how to read a P&L, and how to coach managers. That's the foundation everything since is built on.
